On February 17, all Laveen schools participated in Digital Learning Day. Over 240 teachers conducted Digital Learning Day activities.

This nationwide celebration began in 2012 as a way to highlight technology use in the classroom, recognize innovative teachers, and share technology programs that improve student achievement. Digital Learning Day promotes the effective use of modern day tools to improve the learning experience in K-12 public schools.
